Victorian Diseases - Sheldon® Comic Strip

PANEL 1: In sepia tones, two victorian-era dressed men stand. One is bald with big eyebrows and a monocle, the other has large side burns and an ascot.
MAN 1: Hello. We’re Victorian-era English Doctors.

PANEL 2: The man with large sideburns continues.
MAN 2: And because we’re Victorians, we’ve come up with some WEIRD names for diseases.

PANEL 3: The first man motions with a finger up, while the second man seriously continues talking.
MAN 1: Instead of influenza, we call it “Grippe”.
MAN 2: Instead of Tub erculosis, we call it “Consumption.”
MAN 1: And instead of sychilis, we call it “French Disease”

PANEL 4: The sepia tone is now a brighter yellow orange. The men drop their serious Victoria stance to throw gang signs. Man 1’s monocle flies off his head.
MAN 1: HA —! Sick burn FRANCE.
Man 2: RA-RA-RA ROASTED.
